Matcha Latte is a blog where I take a comparative look at the intersection of Japanese business and society. Following my MA at Sophia University, I entered the marketing department of a certain Japanese IT hardware manufacturer. My interest in Japan grew then to include the business sector, and I could not help but notice the many ways that products and services are influencing Japan and the world. So, this blog is dedicated to considering the relationship that business and society have. You might say this is my current and main project. The website is also where I advertise myself as a freelance consultant, writer, and translator. What can I say? I hope it will pay the bills one day.
